My 4mnth old Suluki dog pup

Recommended Posts

Well! He had his first shower today!

Easy going as I thought it would be.

Just stood there and took it, exept the couple of times when he nearly did a 4 way split mind!

Have to put a towel down in the shower for him to get grip on.

Easy to dry these Saluki's ain't they, lol.

Bloody coller I bought was too big for now so need a smaller one till he grows.

Wont be long at his rate!

Tried out the harness on him that Im'e gonna use when we first go out on the pull.

He stands there with no probs, taking all the pulling and pushing that was being done to fit it tidy!

Once it was adjusted to the correct size, he just looked at it and went and played in the garden with it on.

Cant see that Im'e gonna get too much trouble with him.

My mates bringing me up a young ferret so he can get used to it being around.

Should be interesting.

(Me and ferrets got a bad past rep, lol)

I think they class me as 11 stone of Ferret food!

See how things go anyway!

I think he must have watched the Magpie's when he was in the Kennals, as he has a real big habbit of hoarding things.

Have to get into the habbit ourselves of doing a bed check every night before lights out, lol.

Bloody hell! This dog is so laid back he's almost horizontal.

He didn't back an eybrow, even at all the other dogs and cats that were at the vets.

Had his first jab, didn't even look at it.

Had his chip and all we had was a tiny movement and a small ouch!

The vet checked him over and recons he has got a small hernia that has to be sorted at 6mnths.

The breeder guy didn't say anything about that.

Vet said that he can feel something like stitches inside, and wonders if the dogs already been under the knife as a pup.

Waiting for the guy to phone me back when he gets home from work to sort it out!

Hope its not gonna spoil him!

Was thinking of picking up a small whippet bitch to keep Aladdin company!

But think its best till the op is done and healed, in cse they tangle in an argument and something happens.

God that would kill me!

Iv'e got so attached to him in such a short while!

Gonna try this tripe today, he gets better food than me, lol.

I had egg and chips for tea yesterday while he sat with a whole chicken, lol.

Something wrong here, lol.

Whats the best mince to get him!

Special dog mince or will the mince from our butcher shelf do!

Spos the fat contents would be better in dog mince?

All new to me!

If he will eat it, I will get it.

No worries on that account.

Rather put food in the dog, than beer in me.

Thats whats good about not smoking or drinking!

lol.

Don't begrudge him an ounce, he is my baby all the same, lol.

id put him on skinners duck and rice for now be cheaper than buying mince from supermarket. Its good stuff and they keep a steady weight on it and my dogs have gleamed on it for a long time got a lot of oils and fats which are good for them in there too and i add a little raw mince or minced chicken or nature diet when im lazy to keep them interested

Picked up a mate for Aladdin, to keep him company while he gets used to the household!

They get on so well its strange!

From the time they met they have played well together and copy each other!

Only got a temporary hutch at moment, while Im'e building the new one!

If Aladdin has his own way, it would be big enough for the both of them.

Wouldn't think this pic was the other day, he seems to look younger, lol.

Dont we all wish for that!
