kingoftoosh 15
After another blank day on my permission no crows been about for a week.Think they figured out that every time they landed certain places ,some got dead.will need to give it a wee break or come up with a strategy. plus point, the farmer said he hasn't seen as many crows about recenly,so means Ive started to do what was asked in the first place. My acme crow call isn't bringing them in ,they just answer back.Anyway ,was walking back from trying a new area out when i nearly stood on a rabbit, needless to say it bolted But i'm happy, only seen Hare's up till now.I have ordered a new lamp for my gun which should be arriving soon, will need to go up for a look one night to see if I can see more bunnies. its a couple of new challenges for me lamping and finding new bits to shoot from Also found new bits to try next time i go up,its a few different trees where i seen good few woodies and crows loitering. Phantom 631
Yep, very intelligent Birds Them, Maggies and Woodies! as soon as they see yah with the pointy bang stick; they're offski :wallbash: Lamping when you first start is very hard work, distance estimation goes out the window until you get the hang of it. Seeing a pellet leave your gun and streak across to its target for the first time is unreal Enjoy Phantom Quote Link to post
