Yappin

Hi I have a beddy whippet bitch she's doin well, I started her at 10month and she's caught 16 rabbits so far, she's now 11 month and on some runs she's started yappin, but yesterday I was out walking and she chased a fox and never yapped once and she only yapps when chasin some rabbits. Does anyone know why she's doin it ? Cheers

is yours doing it alot when runing rabbit meaning [none stop yapping when runin] or now and agen?

try and pick your runs for a little while,let your dog gain some more confidence i would suggest that this is frustration and i bet it is only on longer runs.also i dont know how you run your dog but make sure its singley because jealousy can also make them yap atb

give it a couple of easy runs and then home ,i know its hard and you want to give the dog some good nights but they will come in time ,dont ruin it before the dogs right age or you,ll be back at the starting blocks with a new dog ,its probs down to its stamina and loosing pace due to its age and then frustration sets in
