Aaron_butcher 17 Posted September 21, 2010 Report Share Posted September 21, 2010 mange, rats tail, old sawdust or mites? it does come off if i rub it but have to rub it fairly hard but doesnt distress ferret so wouldnt have thought it was mange scabs? its only on his tail but my BEW has one or two very small patches on his back aswell as tail. If he is an entire male then he would be secreting a hormone which makes him become more orange in the summer months. Hair loss on the tail is normal in the summer too.
