great paint job! did you not have to sand or do anything to the wood or metal work first?

i sanded the stock down just to take the varnish off and gave the metal work a very light rub with white spirits just to take and grease off ...then coat of primer..followed by black ,green ,,black and a final coat of green

 

but if shannon asks its pink lol
