Perch fisherman breaches rules

i came across the following article while browsing:

 

A man who was found with some 90 perch in his possession by fisheries inspectors has been convicted at Castleblayney District Court.

 

Antanas Gavutis of Streamstreet, Newry, was fined €150 and ordered to pay €1,134 costs and expenses when convicted for a breach of fishery regulations at Annadrummond Lake, Co Monaghan, on January 9th last.

Lets put it this way, pretty soon there will be no fish to catch in the uk.A freind of mine worked in poland a few years back, he asked the locals where the best fishing was, he was told that the waters had been empty of fish for years. Something needs to be done its no good paying your fishing licences if they are not policing the waters, only one ballif in the north east??????????whats he going to do???????
