FTB you should take a look at how snares work these days, they have stops and are set in non tangle situations, not much chance of killing it if set carefully ,seems a better alternative than leaving it to run around and possibly cause a rta or turn into a stock worrier Quote Link to post

FTB If you read the other post, were going to be useing the collarum, which is designed to be non kill, This dog will not be caught, simple as we can not drug her, as the area is to dence and large and we wouldnt find her, she will not come near humans or even other dogs this is being done as a last resort and we havent gone in to this lightly, if there was any other way to catch her, we would have done it by now - dont ya think. cassshantia 16
if she not been spade then other dogs will start to in from all over the place ,if you have a dog take it with you ,if she s ready to mate she'll come looking its natural once dog locked get on to her another thing what do people do with feral cats ?feed the buggers i know you have but she'll need confidence another option if shes a pest and taking live stock is to shoot her Quote Link to post
Guest chook
Would realy prefare to get her in before hand realy, we cant get close enough to see if shes spayed or not and for all we know, she might of had a season before she was dumped, so it could be 6 months before she comes in again, were not waiting 6 months. And we are quite lucky round hear, the nearest stock is quite some distance away, around 7 miles shes not intrested in moving on yet, so i think we are quite safe that shes not going to worry stock.
