Hi every one

I popped out to a new piece of permission, that chaz and I have just acquired and maybe more in the pipeline?

Here are pics of the permission

Once I got my self set up I attached my handycam to my scope, and got my self settled at one end of the paddock and waited. I did not have to wait long till the first rabbit appeared followed by a few more, on my first recky with out my aas410k I had spotted 22 roaming freely about the paddocks. And this has concerned the land owner so hence why I am here!

Here is some footage of activity!

Well there were a few out in range! So it would be rude not too! First bunny was ranged at 43yds and I waited till it got settled and I was getting comfy to take the shot im using the aas410k .22 so zeroed at 30yds and 1/1.5 mildot hold over. I had my back up against a tree and brought my knee up to steady the rifle, and controlled my breathing. And slowly took the cross hairs to my P.O.I which showed on quick a zero session before hand I took up the first stage, and paused as the bunny had moved about 2/3 yds so shifted my P.O.I to 1.3/4 of a mil and I knew that was good for a couple or three yds took aim THWACK! First bunny in the bag, then another THWACK!! And THWACK!!!

Three bunnies’ down in three shots, a result went for the fourth but missed! Think excitement took! Over lol

And here is where they fell

43yds

These next two were between 30/35yds; I should have got footage of these as they were Olympic back flip! Champions DOH!!

After this they stayed down for a while, by this time it was ready for a bit of lamping so back over to the saddle room for a quick drink & attach me lamp. And back over to the paddocks as walking to them I had a quick shine and there must have been at least 10 out

Which I bagged another 3 of

Lamped, these were taken on 1 mil/1.5mil so between 40/45yds, sorry for quality of pic, but got new phone and has no flash, DOH!!!

I didn’t want to go to mad as I promised to save some for Chaz (lighthunter) my shooting buddy, which he reminded my via txt lol so by 21:00hrs I was all done so a good 3 hours out in the field, and the paddock owner was happy

Sorry no scopecam footage, of humane kills!! Due to me forgetting my glasses

Hi Davy,

That looks like a cracking permission there pal with plenty of bunnies to cull  .

Them ranges 40 to 45 yards (36.6 metres to 41.1 metres) with a .22 are really good as well mate and a true testament to your versatility in calibre usage (.177 or .22 calibres) and own shooting ability :notworthy:

Please don’t forget your glasses next time buddy, we want to see some scope camera footage ;) .
