Hollie 21
I don't believe that god is a person, i believe that god is all things good, mother nature as such....
bert the fert 28
No. I honestly believe that your either stupid or mentally retarded if you do. Sorry if i offend anyone, seriously. Religion is/was there to control the masses, without it there would have been total anarchy over the ages and religion has helped nullify it. People want to believe in God only because the thought of there being nothing else after death is terrifying, and believing in something else pacifies us. I dunno, Trappa. I pretty much have to believe in a God because my intellect can't find a more convenient supposition, regarding what was here before the Universe. How did it start ? Who or what created it ? That said, i truly believe we are no different to the rest of the fauna infesting this planet in that when we die, we cease to exist in any capacity.
lola & tom 0
i don't think there is because if there was the world would be a better place than it is, and religion is also a cause of wars. also if there is a god why does he/she take the good ones young and leave the bad ones to get old. poacher3161 1,766
NO such thing as god just another stupid belief to keep people under some sort of control and likes been said those that believe in god are a sandwich short of a picnick in my opinion. Dosser 52
Ahh the biggest of the big questions. Before "organized" religion, every ancient civilization from the aboriginies to the mayans etc, had a belief in a great spirit or infinate oneness. There is a school of thought that believes weve all been hoodwinked into discarding our spirituality in favour of the pursuit of sex and material things in order to usher in a new satanic era. so in answer to your question, i dunno, but something special definately created Kelly Brook. Leewx 2
Makes more sense than any other religion IMO!!My link
bolio 51
But Bert, those same questions can be asked of the God theory. Who or what created him/it and what was there before God? Anyhow there have been thousands of Gods worshiped and feared by peoples from all over the world throughout history and most of us don't believe in many of them. The difference between an atheist like me and the pope is that I believe in one less God than he does.
Borat 8
I'm from a Roman Catholic family, but I think religion is Bullshit.. It causes nothing more than trouble and It's meant to be charitable blah blah. Well, the Church is one of the wealthiest organisations there is etc etc.. So work it out

I prefer threads to have a pie in them, or possibly a ferret. Yes. You know where you are with a ferret.
poacher3161 1,766
Well if the God Pan is anything to go by you can keep your fekin gods and all the bullshit that comes with him.
Wattsy 0
i don't have a problem with organised religion whilst not beleiving in it myself although i do think that people who believe in god have mental issues. its like having an invisible friend when your a kid that you talk to and then if you get in trouble you can blame the invisible friend. only some of the people who have this invisible friend are heads of state. i also find it intresting that if you talk to god its called praying but if he talks back you get put in the loony bin
JoeD 24
I believe that something is out there but what or who I don't know, I don't class myself as an atheist but then again I am not part of a religion, I would consider myself a christian but then again, I don't go to church or pray, so I don't know what you class me as.
