Im just starting out and have a saluki greyhound 12month bitch 24'' out of coursing dogs, ive had her on the big land a few times and she has killed a few, I was wondering while she is still young if i could run her on the lamp for easier kills to bring her on more ..have people done this and had good results??? would appreciate it if people could send me some feed back on the post :D thanks

if you just want her for daytime i wouldnt,if she already catching in the daytime keep at it,maybe double her up with a dog doin the job, dogs that get lamped tend to jack a cover and hedges.

i do it but beware of the dangers of lamping. i think it makes them a smarter dog all round and if they pull up a hedges at night, they know not to in the day time. but there has been a few times when ive had to cancel a days coursing because the dog is injured from a nights lamping.
