Hi lads and lasses,

After I posted the last video clip of me demonstrating the Hawke ChairGun Pro software on YouTube yesterday Nigel Allen emailed me and asked me to do a full 2 part special in high definition for his magazine with links to YouTube and maybe his Airgun T.V.

I’ve been working hard all day today on my computer with Laura my girlfriend assisting me and, I’ve finally finished part 1 of 2.

What an editing nightmare than was, I can tell you, talk about stress.

Anyway in this part you will see me altering some of the features in the software to make it more user friendly.

You will also see me explaining what the table and graph is depicting in greater detail.

In part 2 I will spend more time showing mildots calibration and explaining the benefits of altering your rifle, scope magnification and pellet combinations to ensure that your pellets parabolic trajectory stays within your entered kill zone. Point Blank Range (PBR).

I will also show you some advanced procedures that the software can do to assist you with a greater overall accuracy.

These are procedures that will raise your eye brows with astonishment and instantly make you a fan of this software.

Part 2 will be finished sometime this week so please look out for it lads.

All I’ll have to do then is just write the 2 articles for Nigel.

Part 2 will be a cracker.

To make it very clear in HD please do the following:

1. Click on the play button here in the HLF

2. Once the clip starts to play click on the centre of the screen to go directly to the YouTube site.

3. Once in YouTube change the resolution in the bottom right hand corner from 240 to 1080 HD and then press on the full screen tab.

Here is the link to part 1

I hope that you enjoy it.

The thing is though there will now have to be a part 3 as i couldnt fit mil dot calibration on the second part.

This just means that part 3 will be more in depth on mil dots :whistling:

Ill post part 3 onces its downloaded to YouTube in HD in about 3 hours time.

Part 2 is just uploading to YouTube now and part 3 is just in the process of getting converted to HD.

Its a bloody good job that i have a quad core desk top computer with stacks or RAM or I think it would just about blow up right now

Part 3 is the best part i think though and full of little tricks and combo tweeks for you guys to try. :whistling:

I shouldnt be really giving all my little CGP tricks away :wallbash: but as they say "share and share alike" LOL ;)

Come on Davy get your PC sorted out buddy and get Chair Gunning :boogie: LOL.

Kind regards

Hi Zini

Great videos buddy  .Watched them and chair gun isn't so scary and will now be used.I have had it for bout 2 month now ,but never really understood it so not used it.

After watching that wee vid,I have now entered all my data except my actual muzzle velocity cos i don't know it .Will need to find a chrony ,possibly my local gunshop. But i now understand the pellet trajectory and ,understand better how to hold over + under. This can only be a good thing for my shooting, new so still learning ,(a lot better now i have grasped some of the things on chair gun.)

Also will try rezeroing at 25meters instead of about 30,to see if this makes things a bit easier for me in regard to staying in the kilzone for as long as possible. The PBR as its known to me now .(see i was listening) :whistling:

Typed in details of aa fields as I think I'll give these pellets a go.

Keep up the good work, look forward to Part 2+3

Cheers KOT
