Whats wrong with hunting in winter showing in summer? At the end of the day its there own choice in what they do weather it be hunting or showing, some people out there may not be able to walk across feilds or go ferreting during the day due to a number of things, maybe theyv had ther days off hunting and just like to go to shows have a few pints and chill out with there dogs at the side of the show ring maybe going into a few classes now and again.. maybe just maybe showing and racing there lurchers & terreirs is there way of getting out with there dogs. At the end of the day its up to them what they do and just cause certain people dont like it dosnt mean they will stop.

at the end of the day it was posted in the gamefair and show section so cant see anything wrong with it its their dogs and they pay for their keep so can do what they want. nothing wrong with getting enjoyment out of your dogs summer and winter and it was racing they were on about . well done to them i say .

over half the dogs s at shows now are never hunted i like both hunting and showing and I simply do not care what other dogs are doing in the show ring i would be more concerned with what attitude of the handler's regarding competition and being a good sport. Twiggy you need to chill out a bit

As the sun was setting over the hills of Co Armagh Northern Ireland this evening, the news filtered through that one of our great sporting Canine ambassadors Rose Mc Coy and her brilliant racing Lurcher Zola, won the under 21 racing at the Midlands Game Fair England today, and is bringing back to Co Armagh a beautiful cup and shield. Congratulations Rose, and well done. Good luck for the Pride of the Peaks to morrow.

 

 

And to our well deserved English Canine friends a big Well done to Vicki with Acid on winning the unders today at the midlands, and also well done to Richard and Maria with Troy winning the overs. May the winning streak continue.

May I take this opportunity to thank all the decent men and women on this site for their heart felt responses and glowing replies to my write up on this thread. I never thought I had such a following. If anything of interest comes up now in the hunting season ,no doubt I will keep you all informed and always with your interest at heart.Bluebell will keep the photographs going. Dont forget Dundalk Coursing, usually couple of days after Xmas. Will put it up as soon as I get the correct dates. Always a great day out.We always enjoy it.
