Sound Mod for 243

I have a T8 sound reflex mod for my 243, its only 6 years old, take it off rifle every time, trouble is its f***ed, the baffles inside are damaged and rattling around.

 

So whats the best mod on market these days to get and prices?

I think you done quite well out of the reflex mate,but,if you wanted another then send it back to 'Jackson Rifles' and they will replace it for a knock down price,just ring them first,and they will give you a ref. number and you send it off and they will send the 'New' one straight out.I think they charge around £130.00,so,cheaper than buying a new one...........Martin

I use a PES on my .243 and it does the job fine and with it being s/steel it wint rust

I also use a PES moderator on my .22/250 Blaser. It has never given any trouble. I just make sure i take it off after using it to let it dry internally and give the threads a light coat of oil & only ever tighten it on gently by hand.

Think they are around £225-£250 but cant remember exactly. I had to get mine sent away to get screw-cut as the Blasers have a different thread than most rifles so think I had to pay near £300 all-in.

I use the Predator P8 and am well impressed with it. Nicely balanced and suppresses well.

before that I used an ASE UTRA and was just as impressed with the noise reduction but think the Predator is better balanced.

I used to use a T8, but replaced it last year with a wildcat predator 8 which I find much better. Being stainless, and completely strippable is also a bonus. They sell for around £250.

But just check that yours has a hole in both ends!!
