JOHNBOY 18
ive started doing it again this season after not doing it for few, i usually put the bag total, area caught and method used, and if i im hunting with others i put each persons total, a myxi rabbit i wouldnt add, but may be worth noting how many killed each outing to gauge its impact. Ideation 8,216
I keep a fairly sporadic game book. . . . . which i forget to write in. But i do try to keep on top of it for the land which i have been asked or paid to clear. In this case mixi rabbits are included, but with an M next to them so i can judge how bad it is in an area. Some farmers / land owners want to know a number and it looks more convincing to say 'wait a sec' then reach for the book in the glove box, rather than just pulling a number out of the air, even if it'd be the same number, somehow the book makes it look more convincing. stealthy1 3,964
I keep track of what I've done for who, and the method, eg dog, ferrets, trapped, shot, but only numbers and speices, rabbits, pigeons ect, but nothing in depth like weather, place or time, I only do it to see what I end up with every season, or if a land owner wants to know for some reason, but I think most only ask because they know I run my season from september to september, and they only seem to ask in September Quote Link to post
