Simoman 110
We went and there were some good stalls, got a nice picture and some moleskins etc, saw a few folk there, had a chat with Barrie Wade, thanks for the book. My one big gripe is we coulnd't even find the lurchers and terriers and had no end of people ask us where they were, hidden in a corner as per usual no doubt. What really concerns and annoys me is I must attract weirdos and numpties, whilst waiting for lurcher lass outside a stall one fella asks me about the breeding of my pup and then proceeds to tell me what a hard man he is(wow I was impressed) and his nocturnal activities, all the time with an audience, I just walked off and heard him giving some other poor schmuk the same speech in a stall later that afternoon, and another who again must of thought he was in the confessional booth as he spouted shit as we ignored him, turned our backs and walked off. Never understand the folk who think they are the Rolls Royce of the hunting world and feel the need to tell anyone who will listen, perhaps they were bullied at school

The terrified bloke was just venting nervous tension so as not to show his very real fear at ending up with a caved in dumpling and being rolled up in carpet. Either that or he was just flirting and wanted to be bummed balls deep by a SERIAL KILLER ! Edited September 20, 2010 by Brummy

markha 99
I went on the Sunday, yea loads of people in head to foot realtree camo, why oh why oh why? As far as a game show goes it wasnt the best, OK so there was gunmakers row, great if your looking for something in particular, but with the exception of a few things, on the whole the prices were expensive compared to going to my local gunshop etc. Food was a joke, I enjoy getting some local game pies, or decent cattle burgers, cottage industry type food. There wasnt much of that about and what there was, wasnt to good. I qued for a while to get a hog roast, for christ sake they only had one hog, it was stripped to the bone by 1pm, why didnt they have 2 of them, such was the demand! I would have like to watch the lurchers and terriers, where were they? right over the otherside of the road about a mile and a half away? I didnt find them, something about the lurcher/terrier owners wanting ringside parking was what I heard, so they stuck them in a field with their own parking but miles away from the main show? Best show so far that I have visited this year has been Chatsworth, just for the amount of things to see and take part in and the quality of the food without the horrendous price, didnt get to the CLA as working.
