jigsaw 11,863
In my opinion your going to have to introduce him very gradually, theyre not the brightest dogs in the world, lol. If you expect the dog to just sail straight in the earth then IT AINT GOING TO HAPPEN Ive had a few of the half x but on the english bull side and they need to be shown a few before they get the jist of things usually. At 1 year old hes miles behind most other dogs.Your expecting too much too soon in my opinion and like I said he doesnt even realise what you expect of him,get him out with another pre entered dog and show him what exactly he is bred for.I have a pit/staff x here and he was a useless fecker up to two and a bit years, well hes turned into a hell of a guard dog now but it took him a long time to mature, good luck with your dog and most importantly''BE PATIENT'' Quote Link to post

jigsaw 11,863
Well moggy the dogs will help you through mate,my mother had a heart attack today, waiting patiently for the last 2 months for her passing away, only for the dogs Id defo have cracked i think. These bullx are very sensitive and can be spoiled quiet easily, just when things go wrong scream on the inside.Dont let your temper or frustration become evident to the dog or he will be a nervy fecker about you.Once the penny drops then its all instinct after that.Take it easy mate and get yer mind of things with the mutts.
