Malt 379
Did anybody else watch the 3 part series? on Nat geo? I watched the last episode last night, I found all three of them fascinating. The first one was about the volcanic history of the British isles, the second about the effect the ice age had on the landscape & the third one about the history of gold. It was brilliant. Malt 379
Some info about the series for those who might be interested. I'm sure they'll be repeating it over the next few weeks. http://natgeotv.com/uk/birth-of-britain-with-tony-robinson

Malt 379
It's deffo worth a watch if you can catch it lads. The gold one was better than I thought it was going to be, full of amazing facts. Did you know that all the gold on the planet was produced by a nearby dying star when it exploded millions of years ago, and we can only get at 0.1% of it? If you could extract all the gold from the centre of the earth, you'd be able to coat the entire surface of the planet with a foot and a half of solid gold! Amazing stuff, if you're a sad git like me!
