Rolfe 2
First rabbiting job of the season yesterday........was called in by a regular client who informed me he had exactly 10 rabbits in his garden that wanted removing..........but what a garden.........it is all conifer and shrub beds that are impossible to net it the normal way so it is just a case of wrap the longnet round and slip the ferrets in. The first thing that shot out was a rather irate peacock that cleared the net with ease..........quickly followed by a few rabbits. We finished the two hour session with nine rabbits in the bag of various sizes.........with one kill in........so he was right 10 rabbits it was.............He was well pleased and we had had an easy and enjoyable first outing of the season..........So much easier than crawling under bushes trying to set purse-nets............The quickset comes into it's own on jobs like this. Magwitch and I use them all the time they take all the ache out of pugging imo,and enable you to ferret hedges and ditches that purse nets can't touch. Good job, well done. Nice little place in the photo, did you have to use the servant's entrance? Quote Link to post
