dillan 19
Dillan, what is youre NV set up mate. That looks a smashing quality video , very good. Hi Rushty I use a Sony digicam which has built in NV, I screw a digiscope to the digicam and the sleeve fits comfortably around the scope, it is alligned using 3 grubscrews to ensure the cross hais are central to the picture. Because the NV is limited to about 8 ft I attach a lamp to the top of the scope with an infra red filter which gives me a good 50 yards viewing in pitch black. Simply look at the view finder, press record, put cross hairs on target area and pull trigger. They have no idea your there, I know because on the rare occasions I miss they just carry on with there business anabling me to get a second shot. Can be a bit unwieldly so I have a tripod with a spongy rod rest screwed to it enabling me to walk round the set up full circle to cover all areas. I simply rest the gun on at waist height an push the butt end of the gun into my belly/thigh. Regards Dillan Quote Link to post

sibaldib 6
Really good write up Phantom. Makes me feel as though I was there with you. I bloody hate rats and we get a few around the stables. The only way I have consistently shot them is baiting with peanut butter and the like. Good work. Sib Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Thanks Sib, I do try to get it across to people as if they themselves are or were there and if they can read it and have a giggle as well then bonus Phantom Quote Link to post
