hi i have just been otherd a air arms s410, but it has a problem he was filling it up and went to far and a seal poped, would any think else have broke? the gun is £150 with a scope and 3l bottle and it is in mint con, would it be worth buying????

Why on earth did you need to come on here and ask that? Gawd, that's several hundred squids worth of rifle! (about £500 new, without scope or bottle. The bottle alone is probably worth almost what he's asking for the whole lot, which lorry did it fall off the back of?!) You lucky lucky b#####d!

If its been over filled, it should be the air cylinder that pops!

 

What I mean is if its filled too high it should expand at a given point? then you would need a replacement air cylinder.

 

I'd still take his hand off at the wrist though for that price

i bought it last nite £130 i payed for it, its got a weaver classic scope dont no if there any good? i think it dose need a new cylinder tube. anyone no that one will cost?

These guys have all you should need, just obviously don't start pulling the gun apart unless you have an idea what you're doing! Can't believe the bargain you got there! Good luck with it!

iv just come back from taking it to my local gun shop, they said it will cost £150 max so im happy with that, i will let you all on how they get on with it. thanks andy.

Good to see you didn't just run in with £150 notes in your hand and give it to him, but knocked him down another £20, good business sense there!

The Weaver's a class bit of kit but they're not really an air gun scope, more ment for CF use. The paralax will be way out and you'll find it won't focus well at the short ranges we shoot at. Maybe have a word with the shop to see if they'll swap it for something more suitable.
