good start

went out monday with my pup and dame to him,she broke her leg as a pup the vet said she woud never run again so she wennt in pup her first season,and bred a nice litter.kept 1 dog back for myself,and the rest frends and family now own.well the pup is 12 months old and has made 25inc the dame it 24 and she was 2 on 1st sep,both dogs have never seen anything so i had a day out monday and the pair ran out there skin with the pup having 2 nice runs killing 1 in cover 1 in the field,the dame killing both in the field,im taking the pair out again this weekend and this time i will take a camera and take some pics

fair play to ya caspa, theres not many folk would have kept a dog that broke its leg, and even more credit for not running it at all and giving a very long healing time :thumbs:

i agree with keeping the dog after it broke its leg and giving it time to heal, i done the same with my adult working bitch,, the parts i don't understand is why would you have an injured pup and breed from first season?? :wallbash: not only did you have no idea at all in regards to the dam's possible working ability but you risked further damadge to the leg due to the weight of the pups, :thumbdown:

 

pleased to hear dam and pup are well and are now being shown the ropes, personally i would have done things differently
