Used to run about 100, was good fun, but constant work and not much reward. Some money in rare breeds and specialty meats, but that comes with higher initial and maintenance cost. Pigs are the way forward, and more return for your hard efforts (food wise). As for money, you wont make any on such a small scale, you will break even or better, but it will not be profitable. Profit wise, that strip of land looks ideal for a lure coursing event, pleanty of loons out there that would pay you money to let their pot lickers chase a rag about a field .
