dew claws

Recommended Posts

thats unusual as if ya cut a dogs nail 2 far he will squeel but your dog ripped his full toe off and never made a sound not saying your lying put cven when at 4 days old they are removed properly (even by a vet ) the dogs squeel atb

Also the squeeling bit isnt true, A pal of mine off here, (loftie#) was cutting my dogs nails, and he shipped it to far. We didnt know till we saw the blood, it bled for about 5 minutes. The dog never made a sound...

rent out your wife your at it again

what i said was i dont know why people leave them on any dog man that knows anything should take them off

you had to have yours taken off at you expence and inconvienience, your dog had suffered with them before

ask how many men who's dogs have them, have had trouble with them or been laid up because of them

Can't understand why anyone breeding a litter would leave dewclaws on their pups. Quick easy job to remove & saves alot of hassle taping them up later in life. I suppose again it comes down to if the person is breeding for himself/mates or selling the pups to anyone :hmm:

two of my dogs hd them removed by the breeder as pups, but the other one has HERS and can occasionaly catch and tear it whilst turning on quarry, although it doesn't happen too often it does happen and can be painful for the dog and frustrating for myself as it can put them out of action for a wee while (sods law it start of the season!). Im considering having it removed
