CorkyJohn 808
Can't understand why anyone breeding a litter would leave dewclaws on their pups. Quick easy job to remove & saves alot of hassle taping them up later in life. I suppose again it comes down to if the person is breeding for himself/mates or selling the pups to anyone Link to post
Ideation 8,216
No dew claws here - they are a total hassle. Link to post

Guest fence_hopper
dont need to be taken of but for the quick five minutes to do a litter can save future owners alot of cash, from these robbing vets plus no time of injured. Link to post
autopsy42 1
two of my dogs hd them removed by the breeder as pups, but the other one has HERS and can occasionaly catch and tear it whilst turning on quarry, although it doesn't happen too often it does happen and can be painful for the dog and frustrating for myself as it can put them out of action for a wee while (sods law it start of the season!). Im considering having it removed Link to post
