I'd like to see you two skim over the bonnet of your car with those beer bellys.   Ruining thread cult.....   This is more like Dan & Johnny.....

I assume most hunters were out last night in the ideal conditions.   I decided to venture out into the strong winds too. Now I dont know about anybody else, but I felt like a child waiting to go on

This is how i like the threads to turn out some people putting in good constructive coments, AFT we dont see eye to eye on some things but you do write some good stuff! going back to the start a bloke

i always find some of the best nights are when its pitch black with the stars out and theres a gentle wind

Most of time the perfect conditions are not with us, so we do what we can when we can.

Yes on clear nights I've had good numbers, but the dogs have to work for them a litle harder.

Have we argued in the past mate? I can't remember?... what ever the case it's always good to hear about a good night out, and even if we don't share all the same opinions on everything, I'm pretty sure the majority of people into their working dogs would enjoy reading the original post in this thread.

All the best gents :drinks: .

Good read Artic !!I was out last night and also blanked , only saw 1 fox and it wasnt playing. This was on ground that I havent lamped this season. Perfect conditions arent always productive as youve said in fact Ive had good nights when the full moon is up !!!

But just being out there counts ....fresh air in the lungs

Trouble is if we always waited for the "perfect" night the dogs would spend there life in the kennel

Yup, I was also out on Monday, definatley the 'right sort' of night or so you'd be led to belive but for me an Timmyk it was a poor one too, few bunnys on the ground and precious little to show for a few hours out, except for some facial sand rash and a very sore knee. I've long since given up on what would be the 'perfect' night, to me that would be the night i can stay out longer!

Good write up Artic ;)
