I agree completely that these people are primitive compared to the advanced world, but the coalition forces going over there and bombing the place to bits isn't going to wake them up and make them suddenly join us in the 21st century.

 

The people in that area of the world need to find their own way, just as we did.

 

My honest opinion on it all is that we shouldn't be over there, we don't belong there and IMO they do not belong over here, leave them to it, it's none of our business, let them move backwards as the rest of the world progresses.

Fair point fell and i do agree with you in principle.however that regime are harbouring terrorists and allowing training camps for al qaeda and there planning of attacks on the west.but that aside USA and UK are not being honest with us (no big suprise there) teh proposed gas pipeline is a major factor here and were not going to invest billions on it and leave that regime in charge.i trully feel for the kids that are being treated worse than shit,but our goverment saying were doing it for the afghani people is bollocks.they have been systematically killing hundreds of thousands in rwanda for decades and we sit back and do f**k all.

Read it again, I said they don't belong over here either, I'd send the majority of what we have of them here, back to their country of origin and leave them to live as they like in their own country.

I feel sorry for the kids and women, but the same things were happening in this country hundreds of years ago and it's only through us finding our own way that we've been able to progress I think. Those people over there can't/shouldn't be told how to live they've got to find their own way IMO. We've no business telling them how to live anyway, no matter how barbaric things seem over there.

I think you're getting the Taliban mixed up with the Al Queda terrorists, they're not exactly the same thing. Do you think bombing the people we're meant to be showing the way is a way to get them on our side?

 

There's nothing we can do over there to put them right, unless we kill every last one of them, which obviously isn't going to happen. They're primitive people that should be left to their own devices, if the Taliban were to govern their own country without us getting involved, cracks would soon start to appear at the top and these war lords would be at each others throats, murdering each other for power and taking a large portion of their own population with them.

 

If They harbour terrorists, and have terrorists training camps who's aim is to harm the west, then declare war on the entire country and carpet bomb the entire lot of it. They shouldn't make out we're there to save the good people of Afghanistan to free them from oppression when we're blowing them to bits and that isn't the real reason we're there anyway.
