zini 1,939
Hi guys and thank you for all your kind comments . Hi Matt buddy, Thats a cracking point that you have made there buddy and I wished that Id also mentioned it in my video at the end . Thats something we do in the military too when shooting at 100 metres with our SA80s to work out our group size and group centre, we then adjust the group centre if need be to the middle of the figure 11 target. It will also work with any rifle and with a air rifle if your not 100% confident in your own shooting ability and steadiness at your zero range and you just need to see for yourself that the single shot that you have just taken and hit the bull with wasnt just a fluke or lucky shot then you can shoot another 2 or 3 shots at the bull to ensure that your group centre is centre of the bull . If not then move the turret a few clicks which ever way to ensure the pellet group falls on the bull centrally . I didnt do this in my clip because I knew that where I aimed and where the pellet impacted on the target were the same area and that i had not wobbled or fluked my shot at all LOL. Hi Dillan, Im glad that you have now learnt something new from me buddy. How did you find the DVDs that I sent you pal? Hi Hunter, Thanks for that buddy. I really appreciate you getting me a few more sales, and its very nice for me to read that you think that my videos are better than a lot of the other ones that you have watched . When you are your buddies are ready to order mate, just send me a PM on here and Ill get back to you ASAP . Cheers and kind regards to you all Si Edited September 15, 2010 by zini Quote Link to post

matt_hooks 188
No Si, I was the one with the old Axsor Gemini in .22, which you picked up and put a round through a 10mm hole at 45 yards! The SA80's with the new kit on them are so much better than the rubbish we used to get palmed off with, to be fair ours were mainly the L98-A1, so single shot with a mahoosive cocking handle bit. Not claiming to be mil, or ex mil, just lots of cadet stuff when I was a nipper. Wonder what my .22 would look like with the SUSAT on top though. Reckon it'd probably weigh near on as much as the rifle! Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
Hi Si, Finally got round to catching up on posts here, been a little busy (I'll email you and Laura later today) and now need some kip! Just to say Watched the vid, and although I use a minimum of 3 pellets before I decide if it needs to be moved If I'd have had that video of yours (or even someone to explain it) it would have saved myself and thousands of other young shooters countless months of "Shot Chasing" Your work in educating people is greatly appreciated by myself and many other shooters, both experianced and newbies Phantom Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Edited to say, any body got any suggestion on how to get pellets out of barrel without too much damage Hey buddy, A 5 mm dia dowl rod should be enough. Just remove the barrel (think the Scorpion has two grub screws like the S200 holding it on) Hold the dowel rod upright in a vice and poke the barrel (muzzle first) over the rod and just keep tapping the barrel down until the pellets come back out of the breech end. The good thing about using a dowel rod is that it will not harm or mark the rifling of the barrel whereas a metal rod would scratch the barrel inside. Phantom Quote Link to post

Phantom Cheers Phantom, I searched on here last night and found a couple of posts describing same. Never experienced this one before, I must have had one in the chamber and not realised and then filled up the magazine and pushed another one in after replacing it, only thing is I must have shot another few times trying to work out why nothing was coming out the other end,I couldnt see the magazine turning until it got round to the red dot. Ill get some dowelling today and let the fun begin Quote Link to post
IanB 0
Good advice for newbies and beginners simon, drawing pins for holding targets are the best, ideal for all weather conditions windy or wet, unlike tape and nothings going to move the target...dirt cheap to buy..
