Is there anyway you can get across the water and your pup has to follow.......get the waders on

just give him time mate, id be very surprised if he didnt learn to love it pretty soon

am using im with a redtail hawk hes very calm and ive just got im holding point,he sometimes runs in but hes still only a pup so ive plenty of time cheers john.

The love of water will come as her confidence grows mate, dont worry to much.

cheers lads had her through the river 2 or 3 times the day went OK she will com on, shes not keen on going in to cover either i take it these dogs are slow to train, ?

the only problem they have is thier body grows faster than thier brain.

both the water and cover issue can be fixed by dummy work, however try not to teach her to be a spaniel by hunting her like one in the cover.

when i put the dummy in to cover she tries every trick in the book to avoid nettles or brambles if that's where it is if there's no easy way in she will cum back without?

Try her on cold game mate, at 12 months she may be a bit board with the dummy and something with a bit of scent will get her blood up a bit so she wont even notice the thickest cover.
