blackpack 70
and watch out for the fox earth to lol and come to think ov it any over type ov hole will do lol, hopefully he wont but he seems to be completely fearless atm so knowin my luck he will fancy himself as a digger, he seems to have a great nose on him, and if he is sniffing around he seems to 'point' at things that interest him usually hedges he looks straight at it, front paw up and tail straight and head forward, if he enters mate and does the job, send him this way, i'll give him a go lol Quote Link to post
Jordb543 9
Do not encourage him around holes and it shouldn't show much interest in entering much. I use mine bushing/beating and have never encouraged him to enter any holes in the ground, he will have a sniff at the entrance but never enters as all he knows is his quarry is above ground. Comes from working parents too I'm not saying it will work for every terrier but it works for me. Thanksfor the tip mate will give it ago lol poor dog, Goin to ground is part of the fun for them especially when it pays off! if i was your dog & i just chased a rabbit all the way to its burrow but you wouldnt let me enter, i'd be angry :11: atb anyways Rey I wouldnt really mind him going down, and pulling out a rabbit its if he goes down doesnt come out and i have to dig down and he's latched on to a bloody fox or or summit lol, i dont have a problem with fox hunting or anything like that but what im i guna do with a dead bloody fox, too big for my snakes and i dont want it lol Quote Link to post

Ofcourse i do mate, i hunt rabbits more than anything else with my terrier, shes never let me down, or got stuck down a burrow either. if she doesnt get one or more below ground, then they will bolt a few into the nets. but no, shes never been stuck or even came close to getting stuck, but shes a Nuttall/Gould bred Pattterdale so nothing is impossible for her Rey Quote Link to post
