As above, i spiked a pair of wellies last night, on the top near the toes.

Anyway how i can sort this out, as to make them waterproof again.

depending on what type of rubber they are your best bet would be a bike puncture repair patch the ones where you just peel off the back are very sticky. good luck with it.

you could try glueing a piece of neoprene to the inside.

There is a guy in the fishing section who in his signature advertises he repairs waders. Might be able to help you or give you advice. Don't know his name so your gonna need to trawl through posts to find him lol... He put a thread up showing salmon in the river dee if that helps.

i have a big hole in the top of my wellie i repaired it with a big patch but now i find i cant get my foot in any more

My advice would be not to do the same with the other one cos at least you can hop about the field with one good one.

Sorry for the delay in responding, a stalking and fishing weekend kept me off the forum. I can certainly help you, i do a lot of these but the majority of my work is waders. Aquasure and cotal mixed or stormsure and stormcure mixed together and applied on the inside will do the job well.

 

If you want i am happy to do this for you, or can advise
