were you lamping Bewcastle after all the snow had gone? or Yorkshire? rabbits got hit real bad last winter and although the ones left breed like rabbits not a lot survived could that be the answer?

It was the same up hill end! after the snow i walked up their and i saw 100+ dead rabbits with in a mile!

alot of people forget about how the weather can effect the numbers of rabbits on the ground and hillend weardale area was hit very hard as its high ground some of the snow drifts were ten foot and the lying snow was at least 2 foot.

Also know the place well and know all the lads with the permission over there from bardon mill over to fetherstone! Not good posting things on here, an you must have been very lucky not to have been seen, its shit hot with police up and down there!

some of the places here in bucks that were full of rabbits last year only have 1 or 2 around, but i have found places that have not had any on there for ten years showing good signs for next year,
