Crows with white or greyish back?

Just back from a holiday back home on the west coast of Scotland.Kept seeing these crows with grey backs and front,never noticed them before,what are these ?

don't get them round these parts but seen plenty myself in scotland over thirty years ago,make a change from the norm if nothing else

are they rare in uk?ireland is full of them.

seem to be common in ireland and scotland

 

ive never seen them in england

ive only seen crows with white marking in scotland but doesnt matter if they are white or black the ferrets stilll eat them
