In fact it is total bollocks.... you bring an out and out fen dog(running 3 in 3) to my neck of the woods mate, and it would do nothing apart from break its legs!! You take a small field hare dog down there, and it will be made to look a little bit worse for wear!! I am not saying it wouldnt catch on the big open fields but it wouldnt excel.... I have such a dog that runs the opens of southport, the moors of lancs, and the small fields of the north... I would take any good big open field dog on around here with her....Yet the same dog would win the money every time on its own running ground.... think what your saying... Quote Link to post
