Good write up and shooting Phantom, :victory: managed to get out last night at the pig farm for a couple of hours, I managed about a dozen rats and my mate got about a healthy 2 dozen, could have been better but it was a very still evening, mind you I do give him the best spots though, thats what mates are for :boogie: Any way I confirmed with owner for tuesday night subject to weather, he`s looking forward to seeing this marksman of the year 2010 :notworthy: so clear your diary and get your eye in as they are wick down there and plenty to go at.

Thanks guy's, your comments are very much appreciated :notworthy:

Went out for a while last night only bopped one but it was a lovely shot from the pod.

Perfect switch off, 16 grain through the Cerabellum :victory:

Due to the cover I could only see a redish/pink strip of ear twitching and a little red glowing jewel so a little "Educated Guesswork" was in order. No jump, no twitch, not even a wave g'nite. Just a roll over and nothing Shot landed just behind the ear at the base.

I When I went to recover the bunny I got back to hear my phone Buzzing. It was Si :gunsmilie: so I spent the next half hour yapping to him and Laura :gunsmilie:

Then anothe mate rang and I spent the next two hours on the phone to him, then it began to chuck it down, so I packed up and came home. I usually take the pix as I shoot em, but last night I didn't and by the time I could have taken the pic, I forgot

A close up would have been a nice reminder of that shot

Dillan I'm really looking forward to it bud :notworthy: :notworthy:

Note to self (and a reminder of the obvious for others) KEEP IT FASTENED when in public!!

And that doesnt only apply to gunslips........

I used to walk a mile to the farm where I shot with my rifle over my shoulder uncased. The law only stated that a pistol had to be in a securely fastened gun case, not a rifle :tongue2:

I used to wander all over back in the 80's with guns uncased, out here it was common to see a gamekeeper, hunter or landowner with a gun in public

All changed now though
