Phantom 631
Thanks guy's, your comments are very much appreciated Went out for a while last night only bopped one but it was a lovely shot from the pod. Perfect switch off, 16 grain through the Cerabellum Due to the cover I could only see a redish/pink strip of ear twitching and a little red glowing jewel so a little "Educated Guesswork" was in order. No jump, no twitch, not even a wave g'nite. Just a roll over and nothing Shot landed just behind the ear at the base. I When I went to recover the bunny I got back to hear my phone Buzzing. It was Si so I spent the next half hour yapping to him and Laura Then anothe mate rang and I spent the next two hours on the phone to him, then it began to chuck it down, so I packed up and came home. I usually take the pix as I shoot em, but last night I didn't and by the time I could have taken the pic, I forgot A close up would have been a nice reminder of that shot Dillan I'm really looking forward to it bud :notworthy: Phantom Quote Link to post
Scarpa 0
Note to self (and a reminder of the obvious for others) KEEP IT FASTENED when in public!! And that doesnt only apply to gunslips........ I used to walk a mile to the farm where I shot with my rifle over my shoulder uncased. The law only stated that a pistol had to be in a securely fastened gun case, not a rifle Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
I used to walk a mile to the farm where I shot with my rifle over my shoulder uncased. The law only stated that a pistol had to be in a securely fastened gun case, not a rifle I used to wander all over back in the 's with guns uncased, out here it was common to see a gamekeeper, hunter or landowner with a gun in public All changed now though Quote Link to post
