Tail Docking in Scotland

Its seems that after all this time and countless dogs suffering painfull tail damage the ban may be overturned in Scotland .

According to a reporet in the SGA magazine the University of bristol and the British Veterinary Assoc have stated that there is a case for working dogs having their tails docked and that the research done shows clearly that working dogs are suffering tail damage.

At last ,ive been badgering the smps at Hollyrood for years how the hell has it taken so long.

Now I best not get carried away it has still to go before the scottish parliaments rural affairs Secretary .

I wrote to Mr Lochhead when I heard the rural affairs committee were reviewing this again, my msp also wrote on my behalf, hope others did too, keep our fingers crossed !

thats stupied have they not seen te damage that can be done and how much pain and stress the dogs can go through.

Hope the ban gets lifted im fed up seeing dogs with full tails.my pups all get docked regardless as i think it is stupid to leave them
