BITCH 135
a small private pack flushed 25 to guns , and local rifle boys shot 17 in one night both methods far to effective to be considered sport. i,d rather a single slip or dig anyday of the week. Tarmac 1
That is true, But 37 foxes wasn't accounted for with rifles!!! All within the law, 2 hounds were used to flush foxes, to guns, and lurchers to retrieve and track... Terrier work was also involved, accounting for a good number in order to protect the game birds some keepers have. No rifles involved at all. Quote Link to post
dai dog 11
round the swansea area is the same! the rifle brigade have taken big numbers! 1 local boy last year had 36 in 1 month, if you lamp a charlie, he dont hang about! & you can forget calling! the only chance you get is either bait, or if you just stumble on one, which aint often! bloody rifles , when were out all night, theyve had 3 or 4, called back to the pub & gone to bed early!!!! i would never change my ways though! just an annual rifle amnesty would do just fine!! :11: Quote Link to post
