Malt 379
maltenby...would have loved to see that beddy whip over take your moter.my bro had 1 of them.great dog Thanks matey, he drives me dull at times but I'd never get rid of him. He's on the large size for a beddy/whip. (22") I was driving down a big field used for parking at one of the local beaches. He was about 10 yards behind the car until he saw the wife at the end of the field waiting to be picked up, and he took off past the car. Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
were do you do this with your dogs?.sounds great but to much traffic round my way.not that i am on the full on exercise yet.my dog is 11 month old now and doing 6 to 7 miles a night next to me push bike at a steady trot and about 1 to 2 miles free roaming in the mornings.i only lamped her 3 times.she done well.but not out for long cos i dont like doing to much with her and always try to finish on a catch.the exersise i do with her seems like nothing now.shes not even panting when she gets back.but from some of the advice ive chose to take of here i am being causious not to over do it at her age.cheers for replys atb.mat maltenby...would have loved to see that beddy whip over take your moter.my bro had 1 of them.great dog my dog is 11 month old now and doing 6 to 7 miles a night Far too much for a young dog me thinks. rex 8
I always run my bitch beside me on my bike 3-4 miles 2/3 times a week for a couple of months before the season starts and always think she looks in good condition on our first night out of the season but come Christmas after many many slips she is a total different animal, don't think that lamping a truly unfit over weight dog fit would work but a fit fit dog cab totally change after a few hundred slips Good hunting Rex Quote Link to post
merle24 61
Cars and bikes dont twist turn a jink like rabbits,, just because a dog can go miles in a straight line on level ground doesnt mean it is fit to lamp on uneven feilds. As long as they are not stupidly out of condition.. bulk them up slighty so they fleshed out a bit more than normal,, then run them fit on the lamp, tune in the speed, turning and brakes, plenty of good grub after, will soon be in the zone,, and make a road runner look silly in the feild.
