Guest JohnGalway
Do you mean this? I used it tonight, brought in a fox from a long way out, came like a rocket. Called in another fox another night too so they do work but are expensive! My unit has the fox chip. Edited December 13, 2006 by JohnGalway Quote Link to post
rifleshooter 0
The callmaster on the left is a call we have been using for two seasons now and have to say it is a good call ,had many fox's with it that were not intrested in a mouth call, sometimes it may not bring them in but it stops them long enough to take them out , other times there is nothing to be seen ,on goes the call and have had many fox come in that fast you have to stop them before they get too close ,a good call indeed , Now the call on the right is in a diferent league , i was lucky enough to win this call on a very good site with members that have a very good knowledge of firearms & reloading, the call is a foxpro fx3 ,it can be programed with a large range of different varmint's ,crow ,deer geese and much more, it is very versatile ,you can add visual atractants to it ,add external speaker's , and can be used with the remote , i beleive this would be a good call for the likes Frank who has had good success siting and waiting as it can be placed away from your position and used via the remote , the sound quality of the different animals is also very good ,beter than the callmaster , it has two inbuilt speaker's of different frequencys, havnt had the chance to try it in the field yet but if the weather isnt crap i will be out this weekend ,but i think it will work with good results, If anyone is intrested the Foxpro which comes in three or four diferent models can be purchased from www.shootingbags.co.uk he also sels good qualith shooting benches & bags Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
Glad you like it foxy i have the earlier version, i imported from the states before there was an english supplier, and its killed many foxes. Anyone who has done any serious foxing, knows full well, you cannot produce a full repertoire of sounds yourself, some nights only one call will bring them in, and if that happens to be a vixens mating call, or a dog fox bark, the back of your hand isnt going to help much is it? Try the cub distress when the cubs are a few weeks old, its a killer, or the fox/woodpecker, thats been a slayer for us. Quote Link to post
