Nonsense the blitz and striker use exactly the same 100W bulb and bulb holder, handle etc and so put out exactly the same amout of light. The striker has a 170mm diameter reflector and the blitz has a 240 mm reflector i.e. the blitz's reflector is 41% bigger not twice the size but the increased size makes it clumsy to carry and use. I have both lamps and there really isn't much difference in the beam, but the blitz usually stays at home because its too big and clumsy. Quote Link to post

Lennard 10
I'm with Tattey. Both lamps are clumsy and expensive to ditch when you are running from people who want to do bad things to you. In my circumstances where I only want a few rabbits I modify a cheap lamp with integrated battery. It gives a lot of light but only for 20 min and buy new ones everyonce in a while.
