First Kill

Well got my scope mounted on my air rifle now and got my first kill this morning.. F*****G magpies.. Was minding my own business getting on with some work when I heard a right racket in the back garden, a crow and 2 magpies in the tree arguing like mad they were.. I hate the magpies anyway as they hang on to the front of the ferrets cage and nick the food off them.. Payback time, got the cross hairs on mr magpie and let a load of .22 pellet rip towards him.. Down he fell like a sack of shit.. The others quickly dissapeared and I think they will think twice before returning today.. The ferrets also got their own back by wragging mr magpie all over the cage and making a right mess.. haha...

Well done Sean :clapper:

You do know you can't shoot them just for making a noise and arguing with the Crow don't you? :tongue2:

Unless of course they were arguing about which one of them was going to knick those late fledglings and late eggs from the nest :whistling: That is what they were doing wasnt it

Funny you should say that about the Maggies and the Ferrets, I've just got a couple of kits and each day for the last week or two we have had a couple of Magpies in the garden at least 3 times a day now

they can't get anywhere near the ferrets food and won't even be able to see it from where they land, but they are getting ever closer to the hutch where the ferrets are. Wonder if they can smell them :hmm:

If you had left the maggie where it landed, you'd have had the others within 10 minutes :victory:
