running dog hood ornament

thought this was cool, I don't know if it was a custom ornament or something that was stock? I don't know where the pic of the full truck went though! It was something like a 194something Ford pickup.

 

 

 

incredible cars, must have been millions and millions of dollars worth of cars. The show took up both sides of the streets about 2 blocks all around the town square in the town my son lives in.

i have a brass greyhound boonet mascot i did some research and found it was off of a french car cant remember the name from the 1930's i will post a pic i had it on my defender but too many poeple wanted it and i thought i thought it would get nicked lol.. but that one in the pic is a lot better than mine its realy nice

it would be well interesting if they were actually on a vehicle and not just a retrofitted bus one ... jim can you recall anything other than it being French and from the 30's?

there were a couple of these for sale on ebay a while back listed as greyhound mascot I havnt looked maybe still a couple on there.
