FRIDAY,SATURDAY

Hi every one

As some of you know I met up with hunter1998 last Friday for a 12 hour shooting session in Cheltenham, on his permission a local cricket ground. I got to Steve’s at about 7:30pm

And a five minute drive later we were at his permission, it was a windy! Evening and not much out until darkness set right in. I missed a couple and got one which we thought got away

after a stroll around there it was. Sorry no pic

As the night went on they came out but in small numbers! But was lamp shy, which made it hard work to bag. But it was mainly about meeting Steve and having a 12 hour chat!

The permission came alive with feather as the sun was rising! As Steve said my snoring must of kept the bunny’s under ground most of the night! any ways we had a good session and a good bit of banter! And I have invited him down this Friday for another 12 hour shoot at Stanford me tinks and may be a few of my other air gun enthusiast’s you know who you are!

We didn’t get any birds, but it was certainly lively! And at 6:30am the grounds man turned up and it was time to turn are rifles in there slips and take Steve back home and get home myself. So would like to say thanks Steve for the invite!!

On my arrival home the bacon was on and a full English on the table

Because Jo’s little soldier  was back out at 10:00am as I was eating my fry up! My phone rang and it was a builder mate of mine who needs some rabbits taken care of in his paddocks!! A result!! :boogie:

Anyways 10:00am was here and chaz came to pick me up to go over to see Andy

And also met up with Rekowski too! For another long shooting session.

We waited for Alex AKA Rekowski to arrive & waited & waited & waited, :whistling: then he finally turned up!

The plan was, :whistling: sorry Andy’s plan was to shoot some pigeon’s. So I brought some decoys and Andy brought some of his own, we set them out at 30yds/35yds & waited & waited & waited, then it occurred to me to ask whether Andy had done his home work, you know a recky of the area flight lines, sitty tress, all that kind of stuff!! But as he had only has this a short while, I think excitement took over and he forgot to do a recky. Lesson learnt!! There Andy  there was deffo interest but if we had the shot gun then we may have had some??

So we decided to pack it all up, and go and have a bite to eat at Andy’s café sorry gaff  and thank you very much!!

After this we wanted to get back out before we lost the sun light, and had a good look around his 120 acres permission, I think it took us about 1.5 hours in Andy’s shooting truck and a nice one too!!

Then the lamping began and it certainly made up for the no show in the morning! We had 7 in total

Here is where mine fell

This one landed in a strange position, must have been my left handed shooting!!

And hope fully

Hunter1989, chaz, Andy, Rekowski, & I shall all meet up this Friday for a 12 hour session on Friday! Down at Stanford there is enough bunnies there for us, and we need rid of them! Because it is exploding with them!!

Happy hunting
