no its that someone i know has a big hob and it a good working ferret but its a bit tempermental and nailed him a few times

i went to a farm years ago that was advertising ferrets for sale,the guy showed them to me,kept in a plastic barrel with straw in a barn then handed me what i can only describe as a WELDERS glove,they bite he said,i left him to it

This is one of the most popular "novice" questions......

 

If you start at the very begining of ferrets and ferret husbandry/ferret keeping you will see the constant reminders that ferrets need to be well handled from an early age....not just now and then but as often as possible...if this is done, then there would never be any need for a glove of any kind......atb

Have you tried boxing gloves, then if it bites you, you could knock it out
