JODYFOXHUNTER 0
This is another picture of Jimmy, this years pup... caught a rat in a cage trap in the summer when he was only four months old, wouldn't have thought about letting him have it.. but he went that mental when he saw it i thought ' if you want it that bad lad.. it's yours ' .....can't wait for his first dig.. (next season obviously!!) Quote Link to post
tatty 101
VERY NICE WHAT LINES ARE THEY MATE. Quote Link to post
JODYFOXHUNTER 0
Probably get a load of stick for this one, but they're not really bred to any line... just mixed and matched dogs that worked well... The bitch on the photo 'Olly'(she's a bayer but keen as mustard) is from hunt terriermans border dog x stopping lads border-lakie... The sire 'Jack'(NOT a bayer) i got from the rescue kennels about eight years ago... went to get a rotty to guard my workshop, and he was in the next pen.. jumping up and hanging off the bars.. when i asked about him they told me he had been there four weeks and was due to be put down... not while i've got a hole in my arse... don't know if he'd dug before or just took to it like a duck to water..but he's been bang on ever since.. the other bitch Ella is last years pup who i'm out with every week trying to get her first... no luck yet. but there's time.. the weathers just turning (the rotty was w@nk by the way.. gave it away and bought an alarm!) JODYFOXHUNTER 0
No problems so far, Jacks put some manners on the pup a couple of times... but they seem to have a heirachy sorted. They're usually with me in the day and within earshot at night, so if they start having a power struggle they'll have to be splitt.... bitches play fight a lot, but what mum says.. goes Quote Link to post
