Simoman 110 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Share Posted September 7, 2010 I bet 90% on this forum dont know the correct weight of their dog...Knowing the weight is an absoloute must so you can get the correct dosage for worming.....how many dogs get under dosed or over dosed must be staggering...Know your dogs weight people...For the good of its health...atb stabba Spot on, hopefully most people can look at their dog and guage its condition and running weight but knowing the weight is a must for routine health such as worming IMO.......... Most vets wont object if you pop in and ask to use the scales, its a must as I have dogs ranging from 15lb to 70lb.......... Quote Link to post

fresh earth 47 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Share Posted September 7, 2010 i have digi scales and a sling for mine a half pound here or there makes a diff both mine are peddy whippets one is 22lb the other just a baw hair under 23lbs weight them once a week and alter there feeding depending on work rates etc as obviously a dog working 5 days a week will need more feed than one working 2 Quote Link to post
