i have a colliexwhippetxgreyhound, she is six months old now and im not sure she is gonna be what i want. she is just constantly on the go and never sits still. she is very strong willed and exstreamly clever, may be too clever. i am having trouble with getting her to calm down! she is kept indoors but is walked and has been doing some work but it makes no differance, she still wont lay down and settle. how long do you give a dog before you decide its not for you?

the fact she,s biting the rabbit in the photo is a bonus seen dogs not even want to touch them even dead ,,give her time ,,real time and don,t rush her and in the mean time get her in with older dogs that no the score that,s the most important thing ,you will soon laugh and realise she is still young ,,all the best

i would be more worried if the dog just led about and didnt want to do anything,it sounds like a good healthy active pup,do a bit of easy training, but let it be a game not a chore, use her excitment to your advantage, she will be keen to learn, and dont work her at all,let her be a pup,ive seen no end of dogs ruined through early entering, they pick up to many bad points, you have the rest of the dogs life to work her, whats the rush.

I agree shes a puppy!

Let her grow before you start your great expectations! :(

 Crikey moses...If you wanted something that wasnt active ..why get a pup that you wanted to grow into a working dog?
