Lump on ferret

Recommended Posts

A month ago i noticed a lump on the side of one of my jill ferrets face and after a few days it went. But 3 days ago it reappeared, now its not massive but its big enough, it not a solid lump there is movement with it and it gives her no pain when i apply pressure on it, has anyone got any ideas what it might be and any possible treatments. Could it have a tooth/gum infection? Everything looks fine in its mouth. I have never had this happen with any of my ferrets.

Aye

Right children, back on track !! :boogie:

I have seen a few types of lumps on ferrets. Some around the jaw area are to do with teeth and gum issues but have also seen absesses in the neck /jaw area and these are best drained and cleaned out by a vet.

As I have said before,, If your kid had any problems you couldnt sort out, you would take it to a doctor

Afford your ferrets the same care. If you dont know,,go to a vet. If you dont want to go to a vet, get rid of the ferrets.

(general rant)
