Not a good night for wor kid.....

A late start saw us off to our Cumbria permission at 0030hrs arriving at 0120hrs.

After the hassle wor kid had with his scopes he managed to get them zeroed in his garden to 10M before we went so some adjustment to the desired 30M was in order.

Unfortunately wor kid is still having the same problem whereas at full right windage he's still hitting 5 mildots to the left.

So after shimming and reshimming neither of us could get it right, so it's either the scopes at fault or the mounts!

Anyway, wor kid said "Get yourself away for a mooch and I'll see if I can do owt more with these"....so off I went.....

45 mins later I returned with 5 in the bag and 1 missing in long grass that I couldnt find.

Wor kid was well pissed off by then as we couldnt work out what was going on especially as we were working in darkness too so we decided to pack up and head home.....

I gave wor kid the rabbits to take home as I know what it's like to be pissed off and blank out after my S10 jammed and he done the same for me. Hopefully he's taken a photo as I forgot :icon_redface:

Cheers for reading as always and I hope wor kid gets his scopes sorted!

Just spoken to him on the phone......well....looks as though the scopes are cattle trucked! :(

Initially lost lateral adjustment but he said he lost vertical too then the scope lens cracked..... Not good!

Luckily I gave him my Richter Optiks at a bargain family price so he isnt out the game altogether!
