matt_hooks 188
It all depends what I'm shooting. I love my .22lr, and it's great where I can use it safely and legally. If I'm doing some serious bunny work, then it's the PCP just for the multi shot convenience and lack of recoil. If I'm plinking, or knocking over a few rats or pigeons then I love using my old Theoben Scirocco gas ram, nice and smooth but you know you're shooting it. Also love plinking with my pistols, crossbows and bows. I'd love ot have a go at xbow and bow hunting, but that'll have to wait til I get to the states. My favourite air rifle is probably the Scirocco, just for the quality of the wood and how smoothly she shoots, even though she's not working at the moment, think she needs a new trigger seer! Hiya Matt. I used to shoot Bow's too, recurve and compound, all target work, not hunting. Ive still got a Martini Lynx compound in the loft,if youd be interested, give me a PM mate. Bill. johnbaz 363
I had a go at curing a leak on my Career, by replacing a few seals, it had been leaking for quite a while and put out of sight (i was fed up with the thing leaking!) Anyhow, when i rebuilt it, it was hissing loudly (yup- i made it worse ) I replaced two more seals that go under the end cover (where the foresight is attached) and that cured it completely I shot a couple of mags down the garden and then noted the reserve, today it's still at the same pressure so is finally in full working order I stuck a Simmons WTC 1.5-5x20 on and reduced an apple to bits all over the garden in a few seconds A few pics (this is my fave PCP, used to be the stealth ) It doesn't have a fantastic trigger like a Weihrauch but the lever action makes up for that John Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Totally revolting Scope (IMHO) But such a GORGEOUS sexy rifle Is it a genuine underleaver cocking and loading system? Like the original Winchester Repeaters of the old west. Phantom Quote Link to post

It does look a bit strange with the WTC on, i think i'll put the original scope back on (if i can remember which it was ) John Quote Link to post
