pike fishing today

well i no how much you all on here like a bit of a laugh so i thought i had better post the results of my pike fishing outing today.

 

well we arrived at our destination and got the boat into the water with all the equipment in her.

so we set off up the lough and fished around a load of islands trying a load of spinners and lures but nothing seemed to be hitting the mark.

 

we then decided to hit back down the lough and try a different place.

we took the boat out into the broadest part of the lough and at full speed when a big wave hit her side on and damn nearly fliped her over.

so i put the throttle down to about half and continued on only then for the engine to start to stall and splutter & then die.......

 

we tried everything to get her going again but nothing worked and the wind was driving us toward the shore of one of the islands, starting to panic a bit now i had no other choice but to call the lifeboat :icon_redface:

 

that done all we could do was wait till our rescuers arrived and try to paddle the boat away from the shore

the shortly arrived and tied us up to their boat and brought us back to the mooring we set off from.

 

 

 

 

GOD BLESS THE LIFEBOAT CREWS everywhere.

 

TOPNOTCH..... if you see that yellow toothed whore what sold me the boat tell him i am looking for him.

i have to say tho when she was going she was going really good and fast but no fish.

to be honest i had her on the water yesterday as well and she was going like a dream, she went perfect today for a couple of hours this morning untill she died.

then when we got her home she went on the first turn so hopefully nothing to serious but yeah shit happens lol

hard lines niall mate sorry to hear it didn't go as planned. i suppose as long as everyone is safe and well it doesn't make it as bad, could have been alot worse. 10 out of 10 for effort mate hope you get it sorted nothing major and fixed cheap enough. at least your honest which to me says alot....
